When you use Auction Caddie, we collect: • Account information: name, email address, handicap (optional) • Tournament data: bids, scores, results you enter • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe — we never store card details • Usage data: pages visited, features used (for improving the product)
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your information to: • Operate your account and tournaments • Send transactional emails (auction open, locked, results) • Send platform updates and newsletters (you can unsubscribe at any time) • Improve the product and fix issues • Process payments via Stripe
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: • Supabase — database and authentication provider • Stripe — payment processing • Resend — email delivery • Vercel — hosting provider All providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.
4. Email Communications
We send emails for: • Transactional: auction events, results, payment requests • Marketing: product updates, new features (opt-out available) To unsubscribe from marketing emails, click the unsubscribe link in any email or visit auctioncaddie.com/unsubscribe.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Tournament data (bids, scores, results) is retained indefinitely so hosts can reference past results. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing privacy@auctioncaddie.com.
6. Cookies
We use minimal cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data • Unsubscribe from marketing emails • Data portability To exercise these rights, email privacy@auctioncaddie.com.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security including: • Encrypted connections (HTTPS) • Supabase Row Level Security on all data • Stripe for all payment processing — we never see card numbers • Regular security reviews
